Comparison of Mac Ruby Woo vs L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge by Freida Pinto

Hi everyone. I know I have been missing from writing my blogs for quiet some time now. But that's because I shifted to a new place for job purpose and that has kept me busy for too long now. But today while going through my phone I realized that I had promised a comparison review of Mac Ruby Woo versus L'oreal Paris Color Rich Star Collection in the shade Pure Rouge which is represented by Freida Pinto. Since I am a crazy person when it comes to red lipsticks, I had to take this one. It amused me that many bloggers had compared this lipstick with Mac Ruby Woo which is considered to be suitable for almost every skin tone. I won't drag the topic while describing it's packaging. It was very basic. The lipstick came in a plastic cover which was easy to be bifurcated. Details were mentioned on it which means once you lose the plastic you lose the ingredients list.

Now coming over to the actual topic - The Comparison. I don't own a Mac Ruby Woo but my friend does. So I asked her to do the swatches on her hand. By the way she worships Mac Ruby Woo and I don't blame her. The color is really pretty. The picture below will let you see the color of the bullets which looks identical.

Left - Mac Ruby Woo  Right - L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge
Mac Ruby Woo is from the collection of Retro Matte. As the name suggests the lipstick totally matte. Now I do love matte lipsticks but I don't like when it feels too dry to apply which was the case with Ruby Woo. On the other hand L'oreal Paris Pure Roue was smooth to apply and it turned matte after few minutes. When I asked my friend to swatch both the lipsticks, I could clearly see her struggle to rub Mac Ruby Woo 2-3 times to show the color pay-off properly. While on the other hand, L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge was a dream to apply. The color showed instantly without rubbing it a number of times.

Left Swatch - L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge  Right Swatch - Mac Ruby Woo
When you see the swatches you can see the colors do comes close to each other. Will I call L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge a dupe of Mac Ruby Woo? Absolutely. No second thoughts on that. In fact L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge is a shade darker than Ruby Woo. But am pretty sure it will suit on everyone who uses Mac Ruby Woo. Now for the price. While the online price of Mac Ruby Woo is Rs. 1950/-, the marked price of L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge lipstick is Rs. 995/- though I got it around 750/- from amazon.in during an off period. I am sure you can find discount if you buy it from amazon. The only minus point that I find in L'oreal Paris Collection Star lipstick is that the bullets are very soft and they tend to break at a high temperature. Now, nobody likes broken bullets of a lipstick. It not only breaks our heart but it also becomes difficult to apply. But so far the bullet of this lipstick is intact (Thanks Goodness!) But given the price and the quantity of the lipstick I won't mind to apply this lipstick with a brush if I had to. Mac Ruby Woo is a superb color but I don't like such dry lipsticks. If you have no issues in applying a dry lipstick then also I will recommend L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge because of it's price. It turns complete matte after a short while and the color is so similar to Ruby Woo.

Swatch on my Lips- L'oreal Paris Collection Star Pure Rouge
I am wearing L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge on my lips in the above picture The lipstick doesn't dry out my lips nor make it chapped. I have wheatish skin tone and it suits me just fine. I tried Mac Ruby Woo but I gave up because of all the hard rubbing on my lips. So to sum up my comparison below are my final wording:

Q.Is L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge a dupe of Mac Ruby Woo?
A. Yes.

Q. Which one is more matte?
A. Mac Ruby Woo and it's very drying.

Q. Will L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge dry out my lips?
A. It doesn't dry out the lips but it's always suggested to use a lip balm before hand and then blot it on tissue paper and then apply a matte lipstick. It will assure that you don't have chapped lips.

Q. What is the staying power of both the lipstick?
A. I am not sure about the staying power of Mac Ruby Woo but Pure Rouge stays a really long time and survives meals. It eventually fades away after long hours but still leaves a tint behind which looks pretty.

Review of Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Iced Hearts from the range I ❤ Makeup by Makeup Revolution

Hello all my Lovelies. Today I am going to review my favourite product from the recent haul that I did from Makeup Revolution. It's a company based in London. They make cruelty-free products and are known for making dupes of high end products. So like I mentioned in my last blog, I did a haul from their website and I was super happy with their products. My favourite from their lot is the Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Iced Hearts from the range I ❤ Makeup. The packaging is simple. It comes in a box packaging with the name Blushing Hearts mentioned broadly on top. The shade name is printed on a sticker and put on the right top side of the box.
The Top Side Of The Packaging
They have 6 shades in their Blushing Hearts range. They are so good that mostly you will find one or the other out of stock. Since it was my first experience with them I was afraid to take risks and so I chose this shade for the safe side. If you like you can check their youtube videos for watching rest if the shades. So back to Iced Hearts. The ingredients are mention on the bottom side if the packaging and the shades are designed on the back side if the package for your reference.
The List Of Ingredients

Back Side Of The Packaging
The colour of the shades on the back side of the box has appeared darker as compared to what they actually look like. But if you see the box originally you can refer the shades pretty easily. The product weighs 10 grams and has a shelf life of 12 months. The product contains parabens which is probably the only con of this product.

Once you open the package you will find the product packed in a Heart ❤ shaped container. It looks so pretty that I just love it.
The Lid Of The Blusher

The Backside Of The Container
The container is made of hard cardboard. The name of the shade is mentioned at the backside. But no ingredients are mentioned on the container. This means if you lose the outer box you don't have any information left about the ingredients unless you look about it on their website.

Iced Heart Shades
L-R Light Golden, Peach, Bronze 4th Shade A Mixture Of All The Three Shades
Taken In Daylight

Taken With Flash On
Starting with the first shade from Left. Its a light golden shade though it's looking kind of white in the pictures. Trust me it is light golden. It has white shimmers to it which is finely milled. The next shade is a Peach. It has also white shimmers added to it. The third shade is a Bronze shade with golden shimmers in it. All the three colors are brilliantly pigmented. You can apply them individually or you can swirl your brush all around them to get the best of all the shades. Since it is highly pigmented it is important to build up the product gradually or you might end up looking like a disco-ball. The shades can be used to get a dewy/frosty blush look or you may also use the first two shades as highlighter. I just love the peach shade. It is probably the best shade in the box. But I like to swirl my brush in the product, tap it and then apply. It gives a brilliant glow to my cheeks. I also once applied it by spraying makeup setting spray on my brush, swirling it in the box, tapping the excess off and then apply it on the cheeks. In both the cases the product looked beautiful. I got compliments for my radiant skin 😉.

This is a highly recommended product. I will try to grab my hands on the other blushers as well. Do remember that they have separate highlighter and bronzer as well in the I ❤ Makeup range. You must check the name of the product properly to avoid confusions. Makeup Revolution ship their products widely all over the world with reasonable shipping charges. You must try out their makeup range as they have so many products to offer at such reasonable prices. If matte blusher is what you crave for then this Iced Hearts is certainly Not for you. You can also find matte blushes in their website.

So do let me know if you like my review. Also tell me which one is your favourite from their range. Will review another product from my hall very soon. Till then keep smiling 😊.

Review of Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 Palette

Hello my lovelies. Hope you all are doing great. Today I will be reviewing Iconic Pro 2 Palette from Makeup Revolution. I recently did a haul from this brand and let me tell you this is my new found love. I ordered from their site and had to pay for shipping and customs. But it was so worth it. I got a number of palettes from them and I will review each of them in separate blogs.

Makeup Revolution are known for making dupes of high end products at an affordable cost. The iconic pro palettes are said to be inspired from Lorac Pro palettes. But since I don't own the Lorac one I won't be able to tell the difference. Now jumping to the review. The product comes in a rose golden/bronze golden glossy package. The name of the product is boldly written on top and it has a small sticker on the upper right side of the package which shows the color of the eyeshadows inside. The product is designed and developed in London, Uk. The product is manufactured in PRC.

Front Side Of The Package
On the back side of the package the company claims are written which goes like this: The NEW SUPER-ELITE FORMULATION of eyeshadows. More impact, easy to blend, soft and butter-like application, to create the super-elite performance eye looks. Teamed with our Makeup Revolution PRO 1989 Double-ended Eyeshadow Brush.

The product weights 16g and has one year of shelf life. However I can't see any manufacturing date which is strange because it's not possible for people like me ,who buy too many cosmetics, to remember the month in which I made the purchase.

Back Side Of The Package
The ingredients are mentioned on the side of the package.

Ingredients
Once you open the package you get the eyeshadow palette. The lid is black in color and has matte finish which looks classy. The packaging is sturdy which means you can carry it around. The front side of the palette mentions ICONIC PRO which is confusing if you don't keep the outer box. It's only when you turn the palette around that you get to know the number of the palette. The Iconic Pro comes in 3 shades which are 1, 2 & 3. I only have the palette 2 so no worries for me. Once you open the lid you find a transparent plastic sheet on which the shades name are given. Again if you lose the sheet there is no way you can know the name of shade unless you check in internet. The best part is it comes with a built-in mirror which is very handy. Also it has double ended brush which gives a decent finishing in case you don't a different eyeshadow brush. One side of the brush has flat end to apply the eyeshadow while the other end is fluffier to blend the colors.

The Top Side Of The Palette

The Eyeshadows In The Palette, The Double-Ended Brush and The Mirror
The palette is arranged in two parts. The upper slot has the matte eyeshadows while the lower slot has the shimmery eyeshadows. I tried them without primer and with primer. In both the cases the pigmentation was more or less good. Yes some of them were not so pigmented while others were highly pigmented.

The Matte Eyeshadows (Upper Slot WITHOUT Primer)
From Left to Right: Paper, Chase, Smooth, New-Tral, One Way, New Rules, Grey Day & Sudden. Like I said these are matte shades and are very pigmented. The first four shades go well together to create a neutral look. One Way and Sudden are highly pigmented and my favourite in the Upper slot while New Rules and Grey Day are a little difficult to work with.

The Matte Eyeshadows (Upper Slot WITH Primer)
Once I used primer and applied them the colors looked brighter and more beautiful. Even the shades that did not show up that good without primer looked prettier when applied over the primer.

Now let's move on to the shimmery eyeshadows.

The Shimmery Eyeshadows (Lower Slot WITHOUT Primer)
From Left to Right: Only, Silk, Awaken, New Day, Steal-Er, Echo, Ambition, Faith. Just like the matte shades, the shimmery shades are nicely pigmented. Only and Silk look similar but there is a slight difference. Only looks like white shimmers and Silk looks like cream shimmers. You can clearly tell the difference when you look at the palette. Awaken and New Day looks very pretty on the eyes. You can also apply them over eyeliners to give a bold effect. Steal-er and echo are also beautiful shades but I have not created any look using them as of now. Ambition and Faith are my favourite in the lower slot. The look gorgeous and I just love the colors.

The Shimmery Eyeshadows (Lower Slot WITH Primer)
When applied over the primer the colors pop up really well. Also the staying power of all the eyeshadows are commendable.

All the eyeshadows apply like dream. Given the price I can't complain on their pigmentation. A few misses are always there in ever palette no matter which brand you purchase. Same goes for this one. The price of this palette is £6.99 which is a cheap bargain. I got this palette on 30% off during a promotional offer. To be honest I didn't mind if I had to pay even a little more as I loved each product that I got in the haul. I definitely recommend this palette. It will add beauty to your stash.

I didn't add a picture of my haul in the beginning. So here it is.

My Products from Makeup Revolution
Like I said in the beginning I will review each product from my haul in separate blogs. Do comment below if you would like me to show a look created from this palette or if you liked reading my review. See you all next time. Till then Keep Smiling!!

Review of L'oreal Paris Collection Star Pure Amaranthe Lipstick by Gong Li

Hello everyone. Hope you all are doing great. Today I will be reviewing L'oreal Paris Collection Star by Gong Li in the shade Pure Amaranthe(CSR3). L'oreal Paris had launched Star Collection in the shades Red and Pink. I am deeply in love with Red. Whenever I see a red lippie I feel as if it's saying 'Hey Come Pick Me Up. You Don't Wanna Miss Me'. Actually I was looking for the shade that Freida Pinto is promoting in Asia. But it was out of stock. But then I noticed this baby and the color was very pretty so I thought of giving it a shot. Before this I never had any red hued pink lipstick. So I was very excited to try it out.

I ordered this shade from www.amazon.in The shade is priced INR995. But I got this shade for INR725. I just love discounts. So moving on to the review. The lipstick comes with a transparent plastic on top which mentions all the details such as MRP, Ingredients, Manufacturing details, etc. But I really don't like this idea because once you remove the plastic you lose all the important details.
First Look
The front part of the lipstick has the company name and the signature of Gong Li engraved on it with golden color. It also has a square block which represents the shade of the lipstick thus facilitating you to recognise the color easily.
Ingredients
The ingredients are mentioned on the transparent plastic in tiny fonts which is very difficult to read. Also the manufacturing details are mentioned. This is not very customer friendly as once you remove it you are left with just the lipstick and no other important information.

The Other Side
The other side of the package mentions the weight of the product. The net weight is 4.2grams. So the price is a bit high. Also the product has a shelf life of 24 months.

Bottom side of the package
The bottom part of the lipstick mentions the brand name, the shade name and the manufacturing month & year.
The lipstick bullet
Once you open the plastic you get the lipstick which is packed in a black case and looks classy. The cap has an angle that fits on the colored square block. This means you have to be careful while closing the product because the cap needs to be closed in a particular way. The color of the bullet matches with the square block so you don't need to open the lipstick to see the shade. Both are identical.
Left Swatch Single Swipe     Right Swatch multiple Swipe
The above picture was taken in daylight. As you can see the color is brilliantly pigmented. Single swipe will color your lips. Multiple swipe will just add more equal distribution. I just fell in love with this color. Its something between pink and red. I mean that the shade is pink which red undertones. It will suit fair to medium skin tones. I will add another picture taken with flash on just for reference.
Picture Snapped With Flash On
When the picture was taken in daylight the lipstick looks soft reddish. But when taken with flash on the lipstick looks bright pink with soft red hues. Either way I love this color. The staying power is excellent. It applies smoothly and then settles as a velvet matte finish. I have the habit to exfoliate my lips before applying lipstick and also apply lip balm 5 minutes beforehand to avoid dry and chapped lips. The lipstick stayed on me for more than 6 hours. It transfered a bit during meals but did not fade away. In fact it just left a soft stain which still looked pretty. Like I said I am in love with this lipstick. However the bullet broke inside the case. It did not fall off nor did I put too much pressure. May be because of heat or may be it was broken before hand and I did not notice. I am really not sure. But it just broke a bit and can be still used hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this shade for you all to try. Dark skin toned people can give it a miss as it might look a bit neony on them. I will leave a picture of mine to show you all how it looked on me.
This is how it looked on me
The lipstick is light on the lips and is not at all waxy. For removing I used extra virgin coconut oil all over my face and lips. The color came off easily but it stained a bit inside the borders of my lips which was a bit dry. So it's very important to exfoliate properly as any color that settles into fines lines or makes the dry lips flaky does not look good.

So that's all for today. Thank you for reading my review. See you all next time until then Keep Smiling.

Review on VLCC Silver Glow Facial Kit

Hello to all the lovely ladies out there. Today I am here to review to give my opinion on VLCC Silver facial kit. Like I told you on my last blog that I got complete facial kit in an offer from starcj.com So I have used the silver kit and as I go on I will tell you all the details.

The Silver facial kit claims to purify and detox the skin. The packaging is done in a cardboard box. In the kit I found a gold bleach but I did not use it because of three reasons. Firstly I don't like to use instant whitening kind of products. Secondly I had few rashes on my face and the bleach might end it looking worse due to harsh chemicals in it. And lastly because I wanted to review wholelly and solely the silver facial kit because you might not find the bleach in every pack.
The VLCC Silver Facial Kit as seen from the front
As you can see the packaging from the front side clearly depicts  the name of the product and it comes in a purple packet which looks pretty. Also the packet tells you the items that can be found inside which are : Scrub, Gel, Cream and Pack. Also the free gold bleach is mentioned. The silver facial kit is used for purifying and detoxifying for healthy skin. The pack was sealed with a transparent cellotape from outside.
The backside of the package
Now let's come to the backside of the package. It illustrates the use of each individual item that will be found inside, i.e. Scrub, Gel, Cream and Pack. Also the steps are mentioned in order to ease the use of each product one after the other. The ingredients and directions are also mentioned exactly the way its mentioned on each of the individual packet.

Other details as mentioned on the packet
Other details that are mentioned on the package are net content of each product, manufacturing details, mrp, etc. The product is vegan and are cruelty free like other VLCC products. If you have not read my previous blogs then I must tell you that I strongly recommend products that are not tested on animals. Yes I love animals and I don't feel that its justified to try products on them that may or may not harm them. It's just not fair.
The individual packets inside
The individual packets shown in the above pic. Like I mentioned before I am not using the bleach but since it was inside the package I have also added it's picture so that if you get the same packet then you can have an idea of it's size as well. The name of each packet is mentioned clearly and also the step number is mentioned so that you don't have to look at the cardboard after each step.
Backside of the individual packets
On the backside of the packet the ingredients, directions to use the products are mentioned. Like told earlier it's exactly what is written on the outer box. So you can just look at the packet and understand how to use it.
Silver Glow Scrub
The silver glow scrub is the first step and has aloevera extract and sandalwood powder in it. It also has silver powder and wintercherry extract in it. The silver used in the products come with authentic certification. The scrub exfoliates the dead skin cells and generates fresh skin from beneath the upper layer. The scrub is soft on the skin and blends smoothly. It clears the pores and leaves the skin feeling clean and clear.
Silver Glow Gel
The second step is the Silver Glow Gel. There is no red pigment as seen in the picture. I coincidentally put the gel on a small red bump on my hand and that is why it is looking like that. The gel has wintercherry extract, silver leaf and wheatgerm oil. The silver particles are very prominent in the products. The directions trll you to take a steam on the face and clear out the blackheads. The gel claims to stimulate the skin and adds brilliance to the complexion. The gel needs to applied after using rosewater on the face. After the gel is absorbed it directs to reapply the gel and induct with ultrasonic if available. As far as I am concerned I am too lazy to take steam. But I definitely recommend to take steam as it gives a glow to the skin and opens the pores so that the product gets absorbed deeply. Also I skipped the ultrasonic part as I had no clue what it is.
Silver Glow Cream
The cream is not too thick or too thin. It has the perfect consistency. It has liquorice extract, wintercherry extract, sandalwood extract, bergamot oil, silver powder, starch, vitamin e and vitamin c in it. The cream needs to be massaged on the skin in upward and outward strokes for 15-20 minutes. It would be helpful if you massage it with a massager. As for me I used my hands itself because my mom had misplaced the massager and I was not so patient that I can search for it. So I massaged the cream with my hands and applied few drops of cold water whenever I found the cream drying off. The cream charges the skin and removes the dullness helping the skin to breathe and glow.
Silver Glow Pack
The pack is the fourth and last step of the facial kit. The pack is white in colour and has a thich consistency and apt for a face pack. I used my fingers to spread appropriate amount all over my face avoiding the under eye area. The pack as wintercherry extract, aloevera extract, orange peel extract, lemon peel extract, silver powder and other ingredients in it. The pack is used to absorb and remove all impurities of the skin that will lead to a glowy skin. After the pack dries you are supposed to remove it with a moist cotton and apply moisturiser and sunscreen as per your skin type.

Now my verdict for the VLCC Silver Glow Facial Kit. I have a combination skin and I used the product only on my face and not on the neck as I did not feel it necessary. But you can definitely use it on face and neck as suggested on the package. The quantity is good for using 2 times as after me my mon also used it and after that there was no product left. The silver used in the products is of good quality. After completing all the steps I surely found instant visible glow on my face. However the correct way to judge a facial is after one day because the products need time to get completely absorbed in the skin.
Left Snap- Before Facial             Right Snap- After Facial
If you see my before and after facial pictures the glow on the skin is quiet evident. The dullness was removed. I had not put any cream or moisturiser after the pack while snapping the picture so that the effect of the kit itself can be seen. I am also inserting my next day picture where I have put on makeup but the glow can be seen though I had not used any highlighter.
Next Day after the facial
So I highly recommend the VLCC Silver Glow Facial Kit as it leaves upto the expectations. I am very excited to use the other kits as well and as soon as I use them I will write the reviews. Please let me know if you would like me to review other products as well. See you all next time till then Keep Smiling.

Review of VLCC Kajal with Liquorice and Camphor

Hi all my lovelies. Hope you all are doing fine. Today I am going to review about a product which am sure has already been reviewed by most of the beauty bloggers. Since I have just started so I thought that I should also review about this great product. I am talking about VLCC KAJAL with liquorice & camphor. The products of VLCC are most great and are generally chemical free. Like this kajal has Triphala, Liquorice extracts, Camphor and Almond oil as its key ingredients. It comes in a simple packaging with the kajal inside a transparent plastic bulged out of the cardboard.
The packaging of the product.
The best thing about this product is it's cruelty free. I really don't like products that are tested on animals. On the back side of the package all the informations are provided like ingredients, manufacturing details, price of the product, expiry date, etc. One thing that I forgot to mention before that I got this kohl as a free product when I ordered a complete facial kit from starcj.com . But the price of this is Rs.55 for 1g of the product.
The backside of the package

What the product claims,Directions and Key Ingredients
As you can see the product claims to smudge free and non fading. But the size of the product is really small. It has a transparent cap and the body is black
VLCC KAJAL WITH LIQUORICE EXTRACT AND CAMPHOR
I am just not happy with the size of the product. I mean its just too small. May be because I am used to the structure of Maybelline and Lakme kajals that's why it looks tiny in comparison. Let me add more pictures of this kajal then probably you will get it what I am trying to say.
The size of the product is way too small

Total product when twisted out
Like I said the size of the product is way too small but then it can be carried in the purse easily. Also the cap closes with a 'click' so no worries of the cap opening on its own and ruining the purse. Also the quality is definitely good. The product did not irritate my eye and did not smudge as well. But i use a thin line of this kajal so can't really comment about the smudging part. But yes the line did not smudge or smear on me. But it did not last long. Just 2-3 hours and then it faded away.
Left swatch is single swipe. Right swatch is multiple swipe.

The ingredients mentioned are all good for eyes. It gave a slight cooling effect to my eyes. Single swipe is not enough so I had to apply two or three swipes to get better colour pay off. Let me add a picture to show how it looked on me.
I applied a thin line on my lower lash line

It definitely added a spark to my eyes otherwise my eyes looked quiet dull. Adding a thicker line would also look quiet pretty. Another thing that concerns me is when the product will become blunt it might be difficult to apply thin lines with it. So may be I need to use a brush in that case. Will have to figure it out. So all said it's now time for the conclusion. So it's a yes from me. I am happy with this product and definitely recommend it. It's vegan, cruelty free, good brand and good pigmentation. So this should be definitely in your stash.

So do a grab this product and try it. I am sure you won't be disappointed. So that's all for today. Please let me know any specific product that you would like me to review. See you all next time till then spread smiles across.

Review of Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick in the shade 01 Scarlett O'Hara

Hello lovelies. Today I am going review about a much-talked about product that has been a current obsession for many beauty bloggers in the recent past. I am talking about the crayon lipsticks that has been launched by Sugar cosmetics. It's a German company. It has four shades namely 01 Scarlett O'Hara which is a bright red color, 02 Mary Poppins which is a bright fuchsia color with purple undertones, 03 Poison Ivy which is a deep wine color and 04 Holly Golightly which is a nude shade.

What the company claims :
Screenshop from the company page.

I will be reviewing the shade 01 Scarlett O'Hara as it's the only shade I have as of now. To start with the packaging. The lipstick comes in a soft cardboard packaging which looks classy and elegant. The details of the cardboard is mentioned on the packet itself such as name of the shade, ingredients, product details & quantity. It comes along with a free sharpener which is in a different packet.

The crayon lipstick with its packaging and free sharpener.

The mentioned ingredients.

The lipstick comes in a sturdy package. The shade of the lipstick is mentioned on the packet as well as on the lipstick for easier recognition of the shade. This particular shade has blue undertones and hence imparts a brightness once you apply it. I am huge fan of red lipsticks and recently I have possessed a great love for matte lipstick so this one has to be in my collection. This color will suit fair to dusky skin tones.
This is how the product looks without the cap. It had perfect tip but I snapped it after using it.

As far as the texture is concerned it's really soft and you can apply it easily. It's always advisable to exfoliate your lips before applying it as it may settle down on your crease which won't look pretty and you will definitely not like to ruin the looks with this beauty. The pigmentation is really great ans single swipe will cover your lips. Also you might want to apply a lip balm or lip conditioner underneath it so that your lips are moisturised and you don't end up with patchy lips. This lipstick does dry out the lips a little bit.
Left Swatch Single Swipe. Right Swatch Double Swipe. The picture was taken in daylight.

Left Swatch Single Swipe. Right Swatch Double Swipe. The picture was taken with flash on.
As you can see in the pictures the pigmentation is almost equal in both the swipes. So like I said the color buildup is really great. One thing that I don't like is it needs to be sharpen which will lead to product wastage and since it costs INR799/- for one lipstick and that too for 2.8gm of the product so it's into costlier side and wasting product while sharpening will just break my heart. Another thing is I found this product on the company website and fabbag website only and both had the same price. But I got the product on INR 699/- as I got it in some offer where I got a discount of INR 100/-.
This is how it looked on me. It just brightened up my face.
I am just in love with this lip crayon. The packaging is classy and will suit most of the skin tones. I definitely recommend this product and will try to get my hands on the other shades as well. Hope you all like the review. Please comment below if you have any question or opinion. Thanks for reading. See you all next time till then Keep Smiling.
