Review of Patanjali Aloevera Gel

Hello my lovelies. Hope you all are doing great. Today I was following my usual beauty regime when I suddenly realized that I have not review one of my holy grail product as of yet. And since this product is so good it definitely needs to be mentioned. So here I am reviewing the Patanjali Aloevera Gel. This is a product that I use 365 days without a single skip. Before I start the review I would like to tell you all an incident that happened a few months back. I had gone to visit my sister in Sharjah and I don't know why but the weather there doesn't suit me. I get sick whenever I go there. So again when I went there in March for a month stay, I suffered with cold and cough. I took some medicine but sadly one of the medicine reacted and I was left with swollen face with minute bumps all over my face and neck. To my bad luck I was out of this gel at that time and I took medicines to get well. However nothing seemed to work. I applied rose water and other things hoping that something will work. This went on for like a week but there was no change. Luckily I found the Patanjali Aloevera Gel in a local shop there and I bought it immediately. I started using it by applying a thick layer overnight and then again after bath. There was visible change from the very next day and within 4-5 days all the bumps and swelling disappeared. However it took around a month to get the clear skin that I normally have. So you can imagine how good is this product.

I have been using this gel for more than a year now and I couldn't be happier. I suffered with irregular skin tone, acne and a dull face before. But since I started using this gel, I seldom suffer with any breakout. I have clear skin most of the time and my face looks bright and healthy. Even when I don't apply any makeup (which is most of the time) I do get compliments. The Patanjali Aloevera Gel retails for Rs.80 for 150ml. It is also available at Rs.40 for 60ml of product. You can easily find it in any local store and also on different websites like Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Patanjali has become a renowned brand owned by Baba Ramdev.

Now let's start with the packaging. The product comes in a transparent tube with an orange colored flip cap. The packaging is sturdy and looks very basic. In the front the brand name is mentioned in Hindi and there is a picture of aloevera plant on it. It also has the hologram on top so that the customer is assured of its authenticity.

Front Side
On the backside the brand name is mentioned in English. It also mentions the ingredients which is 90% Aloe barbadensis, Vitamin E, Permitted color & artificial smell. It says that the product is useful in roughness and dryness of skin, removes dark spots and increases skin glow. It also mentions directions of use which is mentioned in Hindi. Basically the direction says to massage the gel all over face or to apply a thick layer all over the face and sleep overnight. Wash with lukewarm water in the morning. You can also apply this gel 30 minutes before going to bath. For removing the roughness or patchiness and for treatment of dark spots, massage the gel for 5-7 minutes. If you are suffering with hair problems such as dandruff, hair fall, roughness, no growth; you should massage with this gel for 15 minutes before bath. Apart from all this, the manufacturing details are given and price is stamped on the crimp. The product has a shelf life of 18 months.

Back Side

Once you flip the cap open, the gel can be squeezed out. The consistency is obviously gel like but more inclined towards watery side. However it is not runny. The ways in which I use is a tad bit different then what is mentioned on the tube. I use a thick layer on the face at night time and wash it off in the morning. But instead of using it before bath, I use it after bath. I take a pea sized amount and massage all over the face. The gel dries out in a few minutes and my skin is left smooth and gives a healthy glow. Sometimes I use it on my hair after shampoo but only on the ends. This way I have less visible split ends. I also use it before makeup, if I need to go out for an hour or two. Instead of primer I massage this gel on my face as it sticks on my face and I think it's better to apply this instead of primer as primers have more chemicals in it. Also I use this to set my eyebrows but this differs from person to person. I have full brows so I don't really need eyebrow products to cover any gaps. Due to its quality and effectiveness, the Patanjali Aloevera Gel is one of my holy grail product. Below is a picture of the gel and the amount that I normally use.

The gel and the amount that I use
So this is a highly recommended product from me. Please let me know your holy grail product as I would also like to try some new products. See you all in my next blog. Till then keep smiling.

Review Of Faresat Highlighter Palette Color No. 201

Hello Lovelies. I hope you all are doing great. I am back with another interesting review. Today I'll be reviewing the Faresat Highlighter Palette in shade 201(This is the only available shade). The product is called Faresat Artist & Saloon Makeup 4-in-1 baking powder. But actually it's a highlighter.  I got this few weeks back from an instagram store. The link is as follows:- https://www.instagram.com/online_makeup_store_india/?hl=en

So this product has 4 highlighters and retails for Rs. 1200 which is amazing because you get four gorgeous highlighter at such an affordable price. The product is Saudi based and it is manufactured in China. The shelf life is 36 months once you open the package. The reason why am mentioning this is because the batch that I received has been manufactured in 06/2015 and will expire on 06/2020. Many people don't know the difference between shelf life and expiration date. Shelf life basically means the period upto which a product can be used once the product has been opened and is marked an an open jar followed by M. Like in case of this highlighter it shows 36M. On the other hand expiration date means the duration upto which the product can be used all-together. Expiration date is generally mention in DD/MM/YEAR or MM/YEARS format. So this basically means that you must stop using a product once its expiration date or shelf life is over (whichever comes first).

Now back to the review. The product comes in a beautiful black glossy cardboard packaging with floral designs on its corner. The name of the brand is mentioned in golden color. The Net Wt is also mentioned on the top which is 18g/0.63oz . The packaging is very glossy so you are bound to have fingerprints on it once you start using it.

At the back of the cardboard box the ingredients are mentioned along with the manufacturing date, expiry date, batch no. and shelf life.

Once you open the box you find the palette inside. The palette is reasonably sized which means that you can keep it in your purse in case you want to touch-up. The palette is a of plastic material glossy finishing. The palette is sturdy, which means there is no chance that the box will open up inside your purse. The shelf life and net weight is also mentioned on back of the palette.

Once you open the palette you will find four beautiful highlighter shades inside. It comes with a big mirror which is a plus point because you can apply the highlighter anywhere you want. Below is the picture of the highlighters inside.

Shade No. 1 is probably my favourite out of the four. It is a beautiful light golden color which will suit most of the skin tones. This is also a close dupe for Mary Loumaniser. I have done a comparison on my instagram page. Here is the link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSbYetJh9m9/?taken-by=i_am_beauty_geek&hl=en Some people also compare it with Becca Shimmering Perfector whose price is around Rs. 5500. So if you are looking for an excellent highlighter without burning a hole in your pocket then this the palette you should go for.

Shade No. 2 is again a very pretty shade which will suit most of the Indian skin tones. It has golden undertone and will add a beautiful glow to your skin.

Shade No. 3 is more inclined towards bronze color. This color will be suitable for medium to olive and tan skin tone. If you are looking for  a shimmery bronze color then this needs to be in your vanity without a doubt. Trust me, you don't want to miss on this color.

Shade No. 4 is a silver-ish color. It has a pearly metallic finish to it. This will suit to very fair skin tone however I do use it in the inner corner of my eyes to get the fresh awakening look. You can also mix it with other highlighters to get your own desired color.

Now coming to the texture. All of the highlighters are brilliantly pigmented. There is definite fallout but then it just that makes the highlighters easily blend-able. the above swatches are done with single finger swipe. No matter if you want to get the healthy dewy glow or a full-on disco glow, these highlighters will never disappoint you. Since these are so pigmented it should be safer to use a light hand while applying so that you can build it up as you desire. The staying power is roughly 6-8 hours on my oily skin.

The Faresat Highlighter Palette is hands-down one of the best highlighter that everyone must have. It is cost efficient. You get four highlighters at the price of 1200 which comes under affordable range. The color pays off beautifully no matter you use it with a brush or your fingers. The quality is similar to high end brands. What more can you ask for at this range? I, for one, highly recommend this palette as it has a color for every skin tone.

Review of L'oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Compact Powder

Hi everyone. Hope you all are doing great. Today I will be reviewing the L'oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Compact powder. I had heard great reviews on this product so I just thought to try it on my own. Starting with the price. The product retails for Rs. 420. However I got this at Rs. 315 during a sale on Nykaa. You can also buy this at a discounted price as the sale goes on throughout the year. All you need to do is keep an eye on the product that you like. The packaging is done in a pinkish purple kind of color with the word MAT mentioned in glazed form to highlight it. The net content is 6gms. The shelf life is of 3 years. Below is a picture of the packaging.

Front Packaging
The product claims to give 12 Hours shine free face with poreless finish and instant fairness. It has SPF 34 PA+++. The detailed claims are mentioned on the back of the cardboard package.
Backside of the outer cover
Description- The 1st magical matte all-in-one compact infused with volcanic perlite, a natural yet powerful sebum absorbant. Magical Result: 1. Primes + Poreless skin perfection that lasts 12 H Shine-free. 2. Perfects + Covers pores and minimizes appearance of all blemishes and skin imperfections. 3. Brightens + Impeccable instant fairness. Complexion enjoys a just-out of shower fresh finish and sensation.

My Thoughts -  The shade that I have is N6, i.e., Nude Honey. There are  total of 5 shades in this range which is a bummer because many people won't be able to find a shade for themselves. The shade that I have is a perfect match for my skin tone. I am NC - 34 - 40 depending on the weather. I think this is the second darkest shade in the range. Below are the swatches.

The shade is so similar to my skin tone that it hardly showed up even after layering.
That's why I circled the area but it can be hardly seen

Finger Swatch since it could not be seen on my skin

Once you open the cardboard box you find the product. It's an average round packaging. Nothing extraordinary. The name of the brand is engraved on the compact but since I have used this product for a while now; the engraving has faded away. Once you open the top lead you find the pressed powder and when you flip the compact, you find the white sponge. Now here is something that bothers me. There is a mirror below the compact compartment with the sponge. This means that if I have to reapply the compact outside then I open the box, lift the compact take the sponge, go back to the compact, rub my sponge over it and then again flip the compact to see the mirror. This is seriously too silly. I mean why not just give the mirror on the side of the compact itself. It's really bothering to me.

This is how the product looks

N6 Nude Honey

The sponge along with the mirror in the bottom compartment

Now coming to the claims. I have an oily skin so I wasn't really expecting 12 hours of shine-free face. But it hardly stays for 6 hours. Yeah only if you are under air-conditioner this will work for 8-10 hours. But if you have to travel or if you are going to sweat then this won't help a lot. I use this compact by dabbing it on my face over foundation for the flawless finish. I do agree that it brightens up the face instantly. Below are my two pictures. In the top one I have nothing on my face while on the bottom one I have applied the compact only. This means no foundation, no moisturizer, no concealer, etc. I wanted to try the product on its own.

Just clean face with no products (Except lipstick)

After applying the compact
As you can see the compact has partially covered my dark circles and some acne marks which is pretty good. When I apply the powder, I just dab the product on my face instead of rubbing it. Doing this it doesn't show streaks pattern and also fills up my pores to some extent. Yes it is matte but not for a long time. The shine comes back within a few hours. So you will have to reapply in case you plan to stay outside for longer duration. It is a light weight powder so it doesn't give a cakey finish. Also since the compact comes in a sturdy package, it can be easily carried in a purse without worrying for the product to get damaged in the bag. SPF is again a plus point of this product.

Overall I really like this product. It is great to be used in no makeup-makeup look, office purpose or even in parties. All you need to do is doing the right base for each one. I definitely recommend this compact and I hope that the company launch other shades too so that no one misses this great product.

Review of Charcoal Cream Mask

Hello Lovelies. Don't you love it when you have a clear skin? Oh what am I even asking! Everybody loves clear skin. I have an oily skin but my worst part is not acne. Sounds strange right? But this is true. I hardly suffer with acne which is a blessing. What I hate about my skin (my nose to be exact) are the stubborn blackheads. I feel really annoyed when am all dressed up pretty but my blackheads come poking out 😒. I try really hard getting them out but it hardly works.

I had heard great reviews about charcoal peel-off masks but I was not getting it anywhere. Finally one fine day I found  a seller on Instagram selling the mask. The name of the seller is Shopiing_mania. I had ordered some products from her before as well. Here is the direct link in case you are interested. https://www.instagram.com/shopiing_mania/?hl=en

So the product that I got is Charcoal Mask Cream. On the bottom part of the cardboard box it mentions Bamboo Charcoal Oil Control Anti-blackhead Mask Cream. The sad part is I couldn't understand any thing else written on the box as it was written in a different language. From the looks of it I think it's a Korean product but I cannot say that for certain. The packaging looks like this:

The Outer Cover

Once you open the box you find the product in a plastic tube which makes it convenient for use. The flip open cap of the tube is sturdy but it can be opened easily, without much effort. Like on the outer box, the tube also mentions certain things written in a different language. The product weighs 130 gms. Since I could not read the font it's a disadvantage for me to know its ingredients. But the expiry date is mentioned on the outer box which is November, 2019. So am assuming that the product has 2-3 years of shelf life. Here is the picture of the product inside :

The Front Part Of The Product
The Back Side Of The Product

The mask has a semi-thick consistency much like a glue (Fevicol for instance). The color is jet black which is obviously because of the charcoal in it. It's pretty sticky and so it's advisable to spread the cream on your face as soon as you get it out of the tube, otherwise things might get messy. Below is a picture of the mask cream:

Look at the consistency
Now let's come to the usage. Since I could not read the instructions, I just followed my instinct. I washed my face with a face wash and then took steam so that the pores on my face open up. After taking the steam for around one minute I applied the mask. I layered up the product in such a way that it was neither too thick nor too thin. It should be applied with the right amount so that there is a layer thick enough to peel off easily. Once applied, I left the product to dry on my face which took around 20 minutes. You should be careful and check that your mask has dried off completely, otherwise the cream keeps sticking on your face. Once I peeled off the mask, I washed my face and applied toner to shrink my pores and then used moisturizer Below is a picture of my before and after using the mask cream. I was truly surprised to see that my face (nose to be more specific) was clean of any blackheads. Please forgive my clumsy photography as my intention was to focus on the part which truly highlights my blackheads.

Left - Before Applying the Mask
Right - After Applying the Mask
To summarize it all I will say that I am truly impressed with the results. It works like a magnet that strips out all the blackheads. The price of the product was 300 and extra 50 for my shipping. The product is worth every penny. I recommend to use this product twice or thrice a month depending on your skin.

Hope this review is helpful. Please comment below if you have any queries or suggestions.

Comparison of Mac Ruby Woo vs L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge by Freida Pinto

Hi everyone. I know I have been missing from writing my blogs for quiet some time now. But that's because I shifted to a new place for job purpose and that has kept me busy for too long now. But today while going through my phone I realized that I had promised a comparison review of Mac Ruby Woo versus L'oreal Paris Color Rich Star Collection in the shade Pure Rouge which is represented by Freida Pinto. Since I am a crazy person when it comes to red lipsticks, I had to take this one. It amused me that many bloggers had compared this lipstick with Mac Ruby Woo which is considered to be suitable for almost every skin tone. I won't drag the topic while describing it's packaging. It was very basic. The lipstick came in a plastic cover which was easy to be bifurcated. Details were mentioned on it which means once you lose the plastic you lose the ingredients list.

Now coming over to the actual topic - The Comparison. I don't own a Mac Ruby Woo but my friend does. So I asked her to do the swatches on her hand. By the way she worships Mac Ruby Woo and I don't blame her. The color is really pretty. The picture below will let you see the color of the bullets which looks identical.

Left - Mac Ruby Woo  Right - L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge
Mac Ruby Woo is from the collection of Retro Matte. As the name suggests the lipstick totally matte. Now I do love matte lipsticks but I don't like when it feels too dry to apply which was the case with Ruby Woo. On the other hand L'oreal Paris Pure Roue was smooth to apply and it turned matte after few minutes. When I asked my friend to swatch both the lipsticks, I could clearly see her struggle to rub Mac Ruby Woo 2-3 times to show the color pay-off properly. While on the other hand, L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge was a dream to apply. The color showed instantly without rubbing it a number of times.

Left Swatch - L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge  Right Swatch - Mac Ruby Woo
When you see the swatches you can see the colors do comes close to each other. Will I call L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge a dupe of Mac Ruby Woo? Absolutely. No second thoughts on that. In fact L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge is a shade darker than Ruby Woo. But am pretty sure it will suit on everyone who uses Mac Ruby Woo. Now for the price. While the online price of Mac Ruby Woo is Rs. 1950/-, the marked price of L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge lipstick is Rs. 995/- though I got it around 750/- from amazon.in during an off period. I am sure you can find discount if you buy it from amazon. The only minus point that I find in L'oreal Paris Collection Star lipstick is that the bullets are very soft and they tend to break at a high temperature. Now, nobody likes broken bullets of a lipstick. It not only breaks our heart but it also becomes difficult to apply. But so far the bullet of this lipstick is intact (Thanks Goodness!) But given the price and the quantity of the lipstick I won't mind to apply this lipstick with a brush if I had to. Mac Ruby Woo is a superb color but I don't like such dry lipsticks. If you have no issues in applying a dry lipstick then also I will recommend L'oreal Paris Pure Rouge because of it's price. It turns complete matte after a short while and the color is so similar to Ruby Woo.

Swatch on my Lips- L'oreal Paris Collection Star Pure Rouge
I am wearing L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge on my lips in the above picture The lipstick doesn't dry out my lips nor make it chapped. I have wheatish skin tone and it suits me just fine. I tried Mac Ruby Woo but I gave up because of all the hard rubbing on my lips. So to sum up my comparison below are my final wording:

Q.Is L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge a dupe of Mac Ruby Woo?
A. Yes.

Q. Which one is more matte?
A. Mac Ruby Woo and it's very drying.

Q. Will L'oreal Paris Color Rich Collection Star Pure Rouge dry out my lips?
A. It doesn't dry out the lips but it's always suggested to use a lip balm before hand and then blot it on tissue paper and then apply a matte lipstick. It will assure that you don't have chapped lips.

Q. What is the staying power of both the lipstick?
A. I am not sure about the staying power of Mac Ruby Woo but Pure Rouge stays a really long time and survives meals. It eventually fades away after long hours but still leaves a tint behind which looks pretty.

Review of Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Iced Hearts from the range I ❤ Makeup by Makeup Revolution

Hello all my Lovelies. Today I am going to review my favourite product from the recent haul that I did from Makeup Revolution. It's a company based in London. They make cruelty-free products and are known for making dupes of high end products. So like I mentioned in my last blog, I did a haul from their website and I was super happy with their products. My favourite from their lot is the Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Iced Hearts from the range I ❤ Makeup. The packaging is simple. It comes in a box packaging with the name Blushing Hearts mentioned broadly on top. The shade name is printed on a sticker and put on the right top side of the box.
The Top Side Of The Packaging
They have 6 shades in their Blushing Hearts range. They are so good that mostly you will find one or the other out of stock. Since it was my first experience with them I was afraid to take risks and so I chose this shade for the safe side. If you like you can check their youtube videos for watching rest if the shades. So back to Iced Hearts. The ingredients are mention on the bottom side if the packaging and the shades are designed on the back side if the package for your reference.
The List Of Ingredients

Back Side Of The Packaging
The colour of the shades on the back side of the box has appeared darker as compared to what they actually look like. But if you see the box originally you can refer the shades pretty easily. The product weighs 10 grams and has a shelf life of 12 months. The product contains parabens which is probably the only con of this product.

Once you open the package you will find the product packed in a Heart ❤ shaped container. It looks so pretty that I just love it.
The Lid Of The Blusher

The Backside Of The Container
The container is made of hard cardboard. The name of the shade is mentioned at the backside. But no ingredients are mentioned on the container. This means if you lose the outer box you don't have any information left about the ingredients unless you look about it on their website.

Iced Heart Shades
L-R Light Golden, Peach, Bronze 4th Shade A Mixture Of All The Three Shades
Taken In Daylight

Taken With Flash On
Starting with the first shade from Left. Its a light golden shade though it's looking kind of white in the pictures. Trust me it is light golden. It has white shimmers to it which is finely milled. The next shade is a Peach. It has also white shimmers added to it. The third shade is a Bronze shade with golden shimmers in it. All the three colors are brilliantly pigmented. You can apply them individually or you can swirl your brush all around them to get the best of all the shades. Since it is highly pigmented it is important to build up the product gradually or you might end up looking like a disco-ball. The shades can be used to get a dewy/frosty blush look or you may also use the first two shades as highlighter. I just love the peach shade. It is probably the best shade in the box. But I like to swirl my brush in the product, tap it and then apply. It gives a brilliant glow to my cheeks. I also once applied it by spraying makeup setting spray on my brush, swirling it in the box, tapping the excess off and then apply it on the cheeks. In both the cases the product looked beautiful. I got compliments for my radiant skin 😉.

This is a highly recommended product. I will try to grab my hands on the other blushers as well. Do remember that they have separate highlighter and bronzer as well in the I ❤ Makeup range. You must check the name of the product properly to avoid confusions. Makeup Revolution ship their products widely all over the world with reasonable shipping charges. You must try out their makeup range as they have so many products to offer at such reasonable prices. If matte blusher is what you crave for then this Iced Hearts is certainly Not for you. You can also find matte blushes in their website.

So do let me know if you like my review. Also tell me which one is your favourite from their range. Will review another product from my hall very soon. Till then keep smiling 😊.

Disclaimer: I am not associated with Makeup Revolution. All the products I have purchased are bought with my own money.

Review of Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 Palette

Hello my lovelies. Hope you all are doing great. Today I will be reviewing Iconic Pro 2 Palette from Makeup Revolution. I recently did a haul from this brand and let me tell you this is my new found love. I ordered from their site and had to pay for shipping and customs. But it was so worth it. I got a number of palettes from them and I will review each of them in separate blogs.

Makeup Revolution are known for making dupes of high end products at an affordable cost. The iconic pro palettes are said to be inspired from Lorac Pro palettes. But since I don't own the Lorac one I won't be able to tell the difference. Now jumping to the review. The product comes in a rose golden/bronze golden glossy package. The name of the product is boldly written on top and it has a small sticker on the upper right side of the package which shows the color of the eyeshadows inside. The product is designed and developed in London, Uk. The product is manufactured in PRC.

Front Side Of The Package
On the back side of the package the company claims are written which goes like this: The NEW SUPER-ELITE FORMULATION of eyeshadows. More impact, easy to blend, soft and butter-like application, to create the super-elite performance eye looks. Teamed with our Makeup Revolution PRO 1989 Double-ended Eyeshadow Brush.

The product weights 16g and has one year of shelf life. However I can't see any manufacturing date which is strange because it's not possible for people like me ,who buy too many cosmetics, to remember the month in which I made the purchase.

Back Side Of The Package
The ingredients are mentioned on the side of the package.

Ingredients
Once you open the package you get the eyeshadow palette. The lid is black in color and has matte finish which looks classy. The packaging is sturdy which means you can carry it around. The front side of the palette mentions ICONIC PRO which is confusing if you don't keep the outer box. It's only when you turn the palette around that you get to know the number of the palette. The Iconic Pro comes in 3 shades which are 1, 2 & 3. I only have the palette 2 so no worries for me. Once you open the lid you find a transparent plastic sheet on which the shades name are given. Again if you lose the sheet there is no way you can know the name of shade unless you check in internet. The best part is it comes with a built-in mirror which is very handy. Also it has double ended brush which gives a decent finishing in case you don't a different eyeshadow brush. One side of the brush has flat end to apply the eyeshadow while the other end is fluffier to blend the colors.

The Top Side Of The Palette

The Eyeshadows In The Palette, The Double-Ended Brush and The Mirror
The palette is arranged in two parts. The upper slot has the matte eyeshadows while the lower slot has the shimmery eyeshadows. I tried them without primer and with primer. In both the cases the pigmentation was more or less good. Yes some of them were not so pigmented while others were highly pigmented.

The Matte Eyeshadows (Upper Slot WITHOUT Primer)
From Left to Right: Paper, Chase, Smooth, New-Tral, One Way, New Rules, Grey Day & Sudden. Like I said these are matte shades and are very pigmented. The first four shades go well together to create a neutral look. One Way and Sudden are highly pigmented and my favourite in the Upper slot while New Rules and Grey Day are a little difficult to work with.

The Matte Eyeshadows (Upper Slot WITH Primer)
Once I used primer and applied them the colors looked brighter and more beautiful. Even the shades that did not show up that good without primer looked prettier when applied over the primer.

Now let's move on to the shimmery eyeshadows.

The Shimmery Eyeshadows (Lower Slot WITHOUT Primer)
From Left to Right: Only, Silk, Awaken, New Day, Steal-Er, Echo, Ambition, Faith. Just like the matte shades, the shimmery shades are nicely pigmented. Only and Silk look similar but there is a slight difference. Only looks like white shimmers and Silk looks like cream shimmers. You can clearly tell the difference when you look at the palette. Awaken and New Day looks very pretty on the eyes. You can also apply them over eyeliners to give a bold effect. Steal-er and echo are also beautiful shades but I have not created any look using them as of now. Ambition and Faith are my favourite in the lower slot. The look gorgeous and I just love the colors.

The Shimmery Eyeshadows (Lower Slot WITH Primer)
When applied over the primer the colors pop up really well. Also the staying power of all the eyeshadows are commendable.

All the eyeshadows apply like dream. Given the price I can't complain on their pigmentation. A few misses are always there in ever palette no matter which brand you purchase. Same goes for this one. The price of this palette is £6.99 which is a cheap bargain. I got this palette on 30% off during a promotional offer. To be honest I didn't mind if I had to pay even a little more as I loved each product that I got in the haul. I definitely recommend this palette. It will add beauty to your stash.

I didn't add a picture of my haul in the beginning. So here it is.

My Products from Makeup Revolution
Like I said in the beginning I will review each product from my haul in separate blogs. Do comment below if you would like me to show a look created from this palette or if you liked reading my review. See you all next time. Till then Keep Smiling!!
